MaxIQ: Browser Extension

The MaxIQ Browser Extension enables automatic meeting capture and real-time conversation intelligence during online meetings. Once installed, the extension works alongside MaxIQ to record meetings, generate transcripts, and surface AI-powered insights.

What This Extension Enables

Once the Extension is installed, it can:

  • Detect supported online meetings

  • Store recordings for future search and analysis

  • Capture and transcribe meeting conversations

  • Generate summaries and key highlights

Prerequisites

Before installing the extension:

  • Ensure you have a Chromium-based browser installed.

  • Ensure you have an active MaxIQ account.

  • Ensure you have permission to install browser extensions.

  • Ensure you have your MaxIQ credentials or your organization's SSO provider.

Installing the MaxIQ Browser Extension

Step 1: Open the Browser Web Store

  1. Open the Web Store of your browser.

  2. Search for the MaxIQ Browser Extension.

  3. Or use this link for Chrome: MaxIQ Chrome Extension.

Step 2: Install the Extension

  1. On the extension page, click Add to <Browser>.

  2. In the confirmation dialog, click Add Extension.

  3. Wait for the installation to complete.

Step 3: Sign In to MaxIQ

  1. Click the Extensions icon in the browser toolbar.

  2. Select the MaxIQ Extension.

  3. (Optional) Click the Pin icon to keep the extension on the browser toolbar.

  4. Click Sign in to MaxIQ and sign in with your MaxIQ account.

  5. If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), authenticate using the configured provider.

Once signed in, the extension is ready to capture supported meetings.

Step 5: Join a Meeting

  1. Join a supported online meeting.

  2. Wait for the MaxIQ extension to detect the meeting.

  3. Click the Start Capture button to start recording the meeting.

  4. Meeting capture can begin automatically as well, based on your recording preferences.

After Installing the Extension

Once the extension is installed and configured:

  • Supported meetings are automatically detected

  • View Recent Recordings within MaxIQ for future review

  • Meeting transcripts are generated in real time in MaxIQ

  • AI insights and summaries are created after the meeting

Important Notes

  • The extension must remain enabled in your browser.

  • You must be signed in to your MaxIQ account to use the extension.

  • Automatic meeting capture depends on your recording preferences and supported meeting platforms.

  • Your organization may require browser extension installation approval if your browser is managed by IT.
