Configure MCP Clients with MaxIQ App

MCP Server Integration

MaxIQ MCP Server Integration enables AI assistants such to access and interact with your MaxIQ data securely. By connecting the MCP Clients, users can ask questions about pipeline health, investigate deal risks, analyze Salesforce records, and capture follow-up actions directly from conversations.

This guide covers how to:

  • Connect MCP Clients to the MaxIQ

  • Configure a custom MCP connector

  • Verify the integration status

What This Integration Enables

Once the MCP Server is connected, users can:

  • Ask questions about your pipeline and deals

  • Understand forecast health and trends

  • Investigate deal risk and blockers

  • Look up and analyze Salesforce records

  • Identify action items and next steps

  • Update Salesforce and capture follow-ups

  • Access MaxIQ insights directly from Claude conversations

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration:

  • Ensure you have an active account for the MCP Client

  • Ensure you have an active MaxIQ account

  • The MaxIQ Remote MCP Server URL: https://api.nexus.app.getmaxiq.com/mcp

  • Have the necessary permissions to add custom connectors in Claude


Connecting MCP Client to MaxIQ

Step 1: Sign In to the MCP Client App or Website

  1. Open the app or go to the website.

  2. Sign in using your account credentials.

Step 2: Add a Custom Connector

  1. Navigate to the connectors settings for your MCP client.

  2. Follow the process of adding a custom connector.

Step 3: Configure the MCP Connector

  1. Enter details for the connector.

  2. Add the MaxIQ Remote MCP Server URL into the server URL field.

  3. Finish configuring the connector.

Step 4: Verify the Connection

  1. Once the connector has been added successfully, it will appear in your MCP connectors list.

  2. Go to Linked Applications within MaxIQ to verify if the MCP integration appears as an active connection.


Disconnecting the Integration

  1. To remove the integration, return to the Connectors section and delete the custom connector.

  2. Alternatively, navigate to Linked Applications in MaxIQ and click Disconnect next to the client to revoke the integration.


After Connecting MCP

Once the integration is active:

  • MCP Client can securely access MaxIQ data through the MCP Server

  • Users can query pipeline, forecast, and deal information using natural language

  • Salesforce records can be retrieved and analyzed directly within conversations

  • Meeting insights, action items, and follow-ups can be surfaced when available


Important Notes

  • A valid MaxIQ account is required to use the MCP Server

  • The Remote MCP Server URL must be configured correctly for the connection to succeed

  • Access to MaxIQ data is limited by your existing MaxIQ permissions

  • Removing the connector immediately revokes its access to the MaxIQ data

  • Users can review connected applications from the Linked Applications section in MaxIQ
