Steps to configure Integration for Zoom with MaxIQ

Zoom Integration

MaxIQ for Zoom enables automatic capture and analysis of your meetings to generate actionable insights. By integrating Zoom with MaxIQ, users can seamlessly record meetings, generate transcripts, and extract key intelligence such as summaries, engagement metrics, and follow-ups.

This guide covers how to:

Ensure your Zoom account has the required permissions for recording and access during setup.


What This Integration Enables

Once Zoom is connected, MaxIQ will:

  • Record and transcribe conversations

  • Generate summaries and key highlights

  • Track talk ratios and participation metrics

  • Identify action items and next steps

  • Store meetings for future search and analysis


Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration:

  • Ensure you have a valid Zoom account

  • Ensure your MaxIQ account is active

  • Be ready to grant required permissions during authorization


Connecting Zoom to MaxIQ

Step 1: Log in to MaxIQ

  1. Open your browser (Recommended: Google Chrome)

  2. Go to the MaxIQ app: https://app.getmaxiq.com

  3. Sign in using your credentials (Salesforce, Google, or Office 365)

Step 2: Navigate to App Integrations

  1. Click on the Profile icon.

  2. Select Settings to go to the settings page.

  3. Navigate to the Integrations and select App Integrations.

Step 3: Locate Zoom Integration

  1. Navigate to the card labeled Integration for Zoom

  2. If the button shows Connect, Zoom is not connected

  3. If the button shows Disconnect, Zoom is already connected

Step 4: Connect Zoom

  1. Click Connect

  2. A Zoom authentication pop-up will appear

  3. Enter your Zoom credentials

  4. Click Sign In

  5. Click Authorize to grant the required permissions

Step 5: Verify Connection

  1. You will be redirected back to MaxIQ

  2. The button will now display Disconnect, and a confirmation message will appear indicating that the Zoom integration was successful.


After Connecting Zoom

Once the integration is active:

  • Meetings are recorded and transcribed

  • Summaries, highlights, and action items are generated

  • All meeting data is available within the MaxIQ dashboard


Important Notes

  • Do not click Disconnect unless you want to remove the integration

  • Disconnecting Zoom will stop meeting capture and analysis

  • Ensure all required permissions are granted during authorization

  • Meeting recording depends on your Zoom settings and permissions
