MaxIQ for Slack ensures that your team stays informed about critical activity and milestones across opportunities. By integrating Slack with MaxIQ, users receive automated alerts in Slack channels or via direct messages, helping teams stay aligned and respond quickly to deal changes.

Configuring Slack Notification for Opportunities
By connecting an opportunity to a Slack channel, all associated updates will be shared with everyone in that channel, keeping the entire team in sync.
Log in to MaxIQ.
Go to the Opportunity pipeline.
Select an Opportunity record.
Open Boomcard and navigate to the Opportunity workspace.
Click the Slack icon at the top right of the page.
Add the Slack Channel where you want the notifications sent and click Allow.
After successful integration, a confirmation message is displayed.
Once connected, you will begin receiving the notifications for that opportunity.
Any user (not just admins) can add an opportunity to a Slack channel.
Personal Slack Notifications
In addition to channel-wide alerts, the MaxIQ App for Slack sends direct messages to individual users for key actions and updates.
Log in to MaxIQ.
Navigate to Settings → My Profile.
Click the Enable button for the Direct Slack Message.
Integration for Admins
In some workspaces, Slack Admins may need to install the MaxIQ app or authorize its usage.
Log in to the MaxIQ.
Go to Settings → Integrations
Under App Integration, click Connect next to Integration for Slack.
Authorize the MaxIQ App for Slack by selecting the Slack Channel to be used for application-level admin updates.
Once integration is successful, the admin will receive a message on the Slack channel.
Once connected, other MaxIQ users will be able to use Slack notifications.

System-Level Updates for Admins
Admins can subscribe to receive platform-level alerts such as:
These notifications will appear in the channel selected during Slack authorization.
